Why I Love America

As women, our goal is to inspire, empower, and give a voice to future generations, particularly young women and children. My life’s purpose has been to be a forerunner—a leader in both my personal and professional life—so others can follow. I have embodied this mission at every level, from my own family to my adult children, grandchildren, and now my great-grandson. My message extends not just to the women of the world but also to the young leaders determined to make a difference.

Rick Warren, former Pastor of Saddleback Church, once said that when God made you, He threw away the mold—there is no one else like you, both in the past and future, who will have the opportunity to fulfill your unique purpose. In my book, I reflect on my journey, beginning with my birth in El Salvador and my mother’s move to America at the age of 22, seeking a better life for her daughter. At just six years old, I came to America with my grandmother and uncle, stepping into the most powerful and influential country in the world with a sense of excitement and the promise of a bright future.
